Mena Alexandera Suvari, born in 1979 is an American model, actress and designer. Born on 13 February 1979. After launching her professional career as an actress, Mena Alexandra Suvari appeared as a guest on 1990s TV series Boy Meets World and High Incident. In 1997 she made her acting debut as an actor in the film Nowhere. Her performances on American Beauty - for which the actress was nominated to be awarded a BAFTA Award - and American Pie, which garnered her greater attention and recognition, she was able to move into larger roles. The year 2000 saw her was with her American Pie co star Jason Biggs. She then played the lead part on the film Sugar & Spice (2000). The year 2002 saw her was a part in Spun the independent drama and in 2004's thriller Trauma. In addition, she was a part of HBO drama Six Feet Under in 2004 the show was awarded a nomination for an Outstanding Cast in the 2005 Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2008, Suvari was cast in several movies such as Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the adaptation film to The Garden of Eden. Suvari has appeared in many fashion magazines and blogs as well as Vogue. She's also a Lancome model, and is featured on ads in print in Lancome Paris Adaptive. She has long been an advocate and supporter of the African Medical and Research Foundation.
